A- Once you have a microbial outbreak you should use a licensed Hygienist to facilitate the content and structural cleanup. Depending on the depth of the contamination the cleaning should include HEPA vacuuming of all porous materials (such as curtains & upholsteries), one way directional wiping of all flat surfaces (such as doors, walls counter tops) with approved anti microbial, disposal of contaminated drywall and final clearance testing (air sampling). Inspection of the air handler and duct work should be conducted by Certified Ventilation Inspector and his cleaning recommendations should be followed in coordination with above content and structural hygenical scope of work.
